It’s that time of year again, with workplace campaigns taking place across the North Country in support of our Community Impact work. New this year are more prize incentives, campaign videos from our partner agencies talking about their programming, and a more streamlined pledge portal process!

Where Your Gift Goes

• Health and Wellness: You help families access the essentials—reliable food, safe housing, healthcare, education, and transportation—so health and well-being can take root.
• Child & Youth Success: You equip kids and teens with what they need to thrive—after-school enrichment, tutoring, mentoring, and smoother transitions into adulthood.
• Economic Stability: You power pathways out of instability—education, mentoring, coaching, and resources that help people get and keep good jobs.

In 2026, United Way of Northern New York will invest more than $325,000 in programs that promote health and wellness, support child and youth success, and strengthen economic stability across Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence Counties, including $230,000 in Community Impact grants guided by a volunteer review process that ensures every donor dollar makes the greatest difference. Monies to support United Way’s programming and grant-making efforts are generated through the annual campaign, now underway across the tri-county region. Gifts to the Community Impact Fund sustain life-changing programs like adult education, workforce development, and youth success initiatives.
